Search Engine Optimisation
Search Engine Optimisation [SEO]
Everybody wants to be on the first page of Google or Bing, essentially this is one of the most important factors for any website, if your on the second page you might as well not have a website. Some industries are the exception to this rule, but the rule generally applies all the same.
Deciding what you want to be found for is a key element. You won’t appear on the first page of Google or Bing for every subject you want therefore its important to have a clear idea of what keyword searches you wish to appear for and prioritise your SEO with that in mind. Different pages however can have different SEO targets so when writing content, headlines and other factors on your webpages, it’s important to have a page goal and then work on the SEO from there, working on each page at a time.
Google rewards content and is striving to make the user experience a pleasant one, therefore will rank higher website pages that are in context with the search terms, and those that also contain relevant content about the search term subject. Google sees more happy users as being more loyal users. Even more so in terms of PPC advertising.
