1Will my website be secure?
Yes, AshPark Digital offer secure hosting and perform regular backups of all the websites we manage.
2Will my website be safe from hackers?
At AshPark Digital we do our best to provide security for your website and always add a security layer to your website, if you feel you need additional security we can always discuss this and raise the level of security on your website from standard to premium. Standard is usually sufficiant for most sites.
3What happens if my website does get hacked?
In the unlikely event your website is compromised and you are on one of our lease packages or care plans, we will use one of our backups to re-instate your website, where possible we will also recreate any changes made since the back up was made. If you purchased your website outright then we will use a backup to re-instate your website, but this could mean your website has a reset to when it was first built, unless your own hosting has a backup facility.
Note: If you DO NOT have a lease plan or care package, then re-instatement of your website is chargable for a nominal fee.
Additional Note: All our website builds have SECURITY MEASURES in place to stop hackers gaining access to your website, your website will be constantly monitored for such attacks, however hackers are persistant and new methods are constantly being developed, so whilst we do our best to ensure your site is safe, there is always a risk of an attack.
4How long does it take to build a website?
How long is a piece of string, it all depends on what your website needs are. I've built websites in 48 hours and some take have taken weeks/months subject to the nature of the website.
5How can I be sure, you are the right web design company for me?
There are lots of Web Design companies on the market who we are sure can provide you with a great service, at AshPark Digital we aim to work closely with you to ensure attention to detail is considered, we want to learn about your business so we can make the right suggestions and design a website that will have a positive impact on your business. AshPark DIgital are more than happy to provide existing client references.
6What if I want to use my own hosting?
AshPark Digital can build and transfer a website to your own hosting, the only draw back is we won't have full control and the future of your website is down to you. This includes regular backups, site maintenance and regular updates.
AshPark Digital do offer lease plans or hosting care plans for your website, in our opinion, this is a much better option.
7Will my website work on all devices?
Yes, we design your website with all devices in mind, the layout we use is responsive and will adapt to different screen sizes, we can also show information on a mobile and not a desktop or vice versa.
8Will I be able to update the website myself?
Yes, you will have access to an admin panel and will be able to edit pages and blog posts.
9Can I get training on how to edit the website?
If you like we can offer training, this would of course be charged on an hourly rate.
10Do I need to be local to you?
No, we can communicate via email, teams, telephone, WhatsApp etc. so you can be anywhere, however, we do prefer to work with UK clients.
11Do you create websites in WordPress?
Mostly yes, but we can use other platforms too, dependent on your need. WordPress accounts for the higher percentage of websites around the world, therefore its the most commonly used and is very versatile.
12Do you work with smaller clients?
Most of our clients are smaller businesses, but we are happy to work with clients of all sizes.
13Do you charge VAT?
No, we do not charge VAT.
14Can I view my website analytics?
15Can you arrange a domain name?
Yes, we will search options and present them to you, you can choose the domain you want, assuming it has not already been taken.
